Our Story
Starting out as an ensemble to realize a music theatre project Leon Erdödy had been working on, it quickly became clear that the shared love and appreciation for improvisation and experimental music as well as the interpersonal compatability would lead to a steady artistic flow, that resulted in the Ensemble NACHT.
We are an ensemble of musicians, initiated by Leon Erdödy, from very different backgrounds, starting from early music, to contemporary experimental music, working together to achieve an artistic workflow and ensemble structure that enables us to be equals, establishing very low hierarchies from the start.
Our artistic and educational work
We perform at various stages in Graz, incorporating our individual personalities into a whole.
